Earlier today, Judge Michal Holbrook, with the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, granted the ACLU's motion for a temporary restraining order (TRO) to block the CCV-backed Saving Adolescents From Experimentation (SAFE) Act and the Save Women’s Sports Act, known as HB68, from becoming effective on Wednesday, April 24.

Earlier today, the Ohio Senate passed CCV-backed House Bill 34 (HB34) with a unanimous vote. Sponsored by Representatives Roy Klopfenstein (R-Haviland) and Angie King (R-Celina), HB34 would exempt nursing mothers from jury duty responsibilities.

This morning, House Bill 183 (HB183) sponsored by Representative Beth Lear (R-Galena) and Representative Adam Bird (R-New Richmond), passed out of the Ohio House Higher Education Committee with a 10-5 vote. It must now head to the full House Chamber for a floor vote.
