Breaking News: Judge grants temporary restraining order against HB68

COLUMBUS – Earlier today, Judge Michael Holbrook, with the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, granted the ACLU's motion for a temporary restraining order (TRO) to block the CCV-backed Saving Adolescents From Experimentation (SAFE) Act and the Save Women’s Sports Act, known as HB68, from becoming effective on Wednesday, April 24.

The TRO is effective for two weeks, but may be renewed.

The following statement is from Center for Christian Virtue President Aaron Baer:

"As countless courts have found, states have every right to protect children from dangerous and sterilizing transgender medicine. No child can be born in the 'wrong body' and it's harmful to suggest otherwise.

"Without the enactment of HB68, Ohio girls are being stripped of their Title IX right to a fair playing field, and children across the state are being used as science experiments at the hands of the gender industry.

"I am grateful for Attorney General Dave Yost’s strong commitment to defend HB68 and Ohio’s children from this predatory industry. I am confident this lawsuit will fail."
