ACLJ & OCEN Lawsuit: Columbus City Schools is Breaking the Law and Hurting Families
The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) and the Ohio Christian Education Network (OCEN) filed a lawsuit Tuesday evening with the Ohio Supreme Court against Columbus City Schools for the district’s refusal to transport children to school as state law requires. ACLJ & OCEN are representing a Columbus mother who is losing hourly wages at work because of the district’s lawless actions.

AG Yost Calls Out Columbus School District for Illegally Refusing to Bus Private School Students
Yesterday, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost sent a cease-and-desist letter to the Columbus City School District warning them to resume transporting hundreds of charter- and private-school students or face a lawsuit from the state for their illegal behavior.

BREAKING: Judge blocks common-sense limits on abortion pills
Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas Judge Alison Hatheway has issued a preliminary injunction against laws limiting medication abortion, including a measure prohibiting nondoctors from prescribing abortion pills. The injunction also blocks Ohio’s requirement for the abortifacient mifepristone to be prescribed in alignment with the US Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) label for the drug.

BREAKING: Judge rules against 24-hour waiting period to get abortion
Earlier today, Franklin County Common Pleas Court Judge David Young blocked Ohio from enforcing the state law requiring a 24-hour waiting period after an initial in-person appointment before a woman can have an abortion, as well as an informed consent provision to inform the woman of all her options regarding pregnancy and adoption.

The Rundown: Judge rules in favor of SAFE/Save Women's Sports Act, Marijuana Goes on Sale
Yesterday, Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Judge Michael J. Holbrook ruled in favor of the Saving Adolescents From Experimentation (SAFE) Act and Save Women's Sports Act, known as House Bill 68 (HB68). After months of being blocked, the law is now in effect and ensures girls can't be forced to compete against boys in athletics and children's hospitals can no longer perform dangerous and sterilizing "gender transition" procedures on kids.
