Peter Range Joins Center for Christian Virtue as Senior Fellow for Strategic Initiatives
COLUMBUS–Center for Christian Virtue (CCV) is pleased to announce Peter Range has joined our team as Senior Fellow for Strategic Initiatives to lead our efforts to promote a culture that values life, protects religious freedom, and promotes the importance of marriage and family.
"Peter is one of the strongest advocates for families and the unborn in the nation," said Aaron Baer, President of CCV. "Over the years, I've gotten to witness how he's a man who understands the times and knows how to respond. As Ohio looks to restore a culture of life, he's going to expand the work of CCV across all our divisions, including our public policy initiatives, Ohio Christian Education Network, Christian Business Partnership, and Church Ambassador Network.”
Prior to coming to CCV, Peter was the Executive Director of Ohio Right to Life after serving for 7 years as the Director of the Office for Life and Justice of Catholic Charities in the Diocese of Toledo. Peter was promoted to Chief Executive Officer eight months into his tenure with the Ohio Right to Life. Peter hosts his own radio show called “Say Yes to Life,” which airs in both Ohio and Michigan.
"I am thrilled to join Center for Christian Virtue to continue the important work of saving babies by abolishing abortion and restoring our broken culture through the rebuilding of the family," said Peter Range. "Under Aaron Baer's leadership, CCV has become the premier policy team in Ohio. Aaron leads with integrity, passion, and conviction, and that leadership permeates the entire team. I am excited to get to work with CCV to help make Ohio the best place to have a child, build a family, and ultimately ensure Ohio is a state where the Gospel of Jesus Christ will be proclaimed!"
Peter graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Masters in Theology with a focus in Biblical Studies in 2009. Preceding Notre Dame, Peter received his Bachelor of Arts in History from John Carroll University in 2004. Peter's history of ministry work includes serving immigrant families, inner-city youth, university students and the homeless.
Peter is passionate about family, service, and encountering the one true God, Jesus Christ. Peter married his wife, Laura, in May of 2015. They reside in Northwest Ohio, and they have five children.
