The Narrative Podcast: Fighting for Truth with U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan

The Narrative podcast is all about confronting false narratives and exposing the truth, and there’s nobody who sheds light on truth like U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan. We’re so excited for him to join CCV President Aaron Baer and Policy Director David Mahan on this episode of The Narrative where he shares his perspective on fighting for truth, the upcoming General Election, and living courageously.

The episode begins with a discussion of the news of the week featuring a story that went viral from our own backyard. Tune in to hear Aaron and David respond to comments from a recent state school board meeting in Columbus, Ohio, that perpetuated the false idea that biological sex cannot be defined.

U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan

Jordan is a fiscal conservative who believes that families and taxpayers, rather than government, know best how to make decisions with their money. Throughout his career, Jim Jordan has led the fight against tax hikes, including those proposed by his own political party.

In the 112th Congress, Jordan served as Chairman of the House Republican Study Committee, the largest caucus of conservatives, advancing conservative ideas and solutions on Capitol Hill. In the 114th Congress, Jordan helped found the House Freedom Caucus, and served as its first Chairman.

Jordan has been an advocate of the taxpayer, looking for waste, fraud and abuse in the federal government. He serves as the Ranking Member on the House Judiciary Committee and on the House Oversight Committee.

As one of the most conservative members of Congress, his efforts have earned him recognition from Citizens against Government Waste, Family Research Council, Americans for Tax Reform’s Friend of the Taxpayer Award and the 2012 Weyrich Award for “National Legislator of the Year.”
