Three Steps to Have Your Voice Heard in This Election

Elections can be confusing. So here's your three-step, no-nonsense guide to make your voice heard in this year's General Election.

1. Get your personalized nonpartisan Voter Guide.

Go to BuckeyeBallot.com to see which candidates on your ballot align with your beliefs. A variety of endorsements are also included for additional context on each candidate's positions on today's top issues.

    • Governor & Lt. Governor

2. Find your polling (voting) location.

Your polling location is close to the home address associated with your voter registration. Find your polling place here.

3. Vote!

You can vote in person or by absentee ballot. 

Voting schedule

  • November 2-4: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm

    1. Saturday, November 5: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

    2. Sunday, November 6: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

    3. Monday, November 7: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

    4. Tuesday, November 8: General Election Day! Polls are open from 6:30 am - 7:30 pm.

Absentee ballot deadlines

  • Saturday, November 5: Deadline to request an absentee ballot (Noon)

    1. Monday, November 7: Mailed absentee ballots must be postmarked by this date

    2. Tuesday, November 8: Absentee ballots may be returned by mail or personally delivered to your county Board of Elections. If not returned by mail, absentee ballots must be received by your Board of Elections by 7:30 pm.
