Ohio Needs Family-First Policy: Here’s How You Can Help!

A Stronger Ohio Starts with Stronger Families

Did you know that Ohio only ranks #29 among all US states for stable marriages and families?

Our 2025 marriage and family report, Hope and a Future, reveals why stable marriages and families are the foundation of a thriving state—and why Ohio needs a family-first policy agenda to:

✅ Strengthen the number, quality, and stability of marriages.

✅ Make it more affordable for men and women to have the children they desire.

✅ Increase family time and shared meals while reducing risks like domestic violence.

✅ Maximize the time and authority parents have with their children.

✅ Educate the next generation about the value of marriage and parenthood through family life skills courses.

A family-first policy agenda would reinforce the educational, economic, and cultural foundations of marriage.

Here's how we want Ohio to lead the way in family restoration:

1️⃣ Track and analyze family structure through state agencies to better understand its influence on Ohio's economy and culture.
2️⃣ Empower youth to avoid poverty with the Success Sequence–graduate high school, work full-time, and marry before having children.
3️⃣ Strengthen marriage by educating the public on its benefits, removing barriers to marriage, and supporting relationship education and counseling programs.
4️⃣ Bridge Ohio's gender gap, helping young men succeed in school, work, and life to make them more marriageable to young women.
5️⃣ Protect teens from Big Tech to safeguard their mental and emotional well-being.

This vision is already taking shape and defining CCV's priorities for the next five, ten, and even twenty years. In fact, CCV-backed legislation has been introduced in the Ohio Senate to teach students in grades 6–12 about the Success Sequence!

But there's much more to do.

We need to raise $500,000 for the long-term, culture-shaping vision that God has placed before us to re-establish the importance of marriage.

Will you help restore a culture of stable, thriving marriages?
