Announcing: The Essential Summit with Ben Carson, Larry Arnn, and Seth Dillon
COLUMBUS–Center for Christian Virtue (CCV), one of the nation’s premier Christian public policy organizations, is thrilled to present our inaugural conference, The Essential Summit.
Today, many Christians believe the Bible doesn’t have anything to say about cultural and political issues. They’ve accepted the myth of the sacred-secular divide. Others feel isolated in their convictions and pressured into silence. The Essential Summit will bring together hundreds of believers from across the state and nation to discover how they can put their faith in action and why they can’t be silent today.
The conference will take place in Downtown Columbus, from Thursday, October 3, to Friday, October 4, where leading national voices on faith, family, and freedom will help attendees understand the times and know how to respond. The Essential Summit will culminate with the annual statewide March for Life at the Ohio Statehouse.
The Essential Summit takes its name from the Northwest Territory Ordinance and the Ohio Constitution, which proclaim, “Religion, morality, and knowledge [are] essential for good government.”

Through four specialized breakout sessions, attendees will be equipped to speak out boldly in defense of the truths God has revealed, understand the roots of today's driving cultural and political issues, and know how to respond with practical action steps.

Recommended for Christian school leaders–principals, superintendents, and teachers. Through four specialized breakout sessions, attendees will dive into the call and challenges to equip the next generation to be effective dual citizens of heaven and earth in an increasingly secularized culture.
