WATCH: Ohio House to Vote on Overriding Governor's Veto of HB68, the Save Women's Sports Act and SAFE Act
COLUMBUS—The Ohio House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on whether to override Governor Mike DeWine's veto of Substitute House Bill (HB68) today—Wednesday, January 10—during its 2:00 pm session.
The CCV-backed bill, which includes the Save Women's Sports Act and the SAFE (Saving Adolescents From Experimentation) Act, bans sterilizing and experimental transgender medicine on children and protects girls from being forced to compete against boys in K-12 and collegiate athletics.
Please note that the House's session agenda may include other points for consideration, and HB68 may not be the first to be heard.

The Ohio Senate currently has a session scheduled for Wednesday, January 24, which would be the soonest they could vote on overriding the veto.
If the General Assembly successfully overrides the Governor's veto, Ohio will join four other states who did the same to enact versions of the SAFE Act, and nearly two dozen states overall that now have a SAFE Act in their state law. Contact your legislators now!
