Watch the Hearing for SB34

Sponsored by Sen. Terry Johnson (R-McDermott), SB34 is scheduled to receive its second hearing today–Tuesday, March 4–at 3:00 pm before the Ohio Senate Education Committee.

This hearing is called the proponent hearing because supporters of the bill will testify before the committee on why they believe SB34 should be enacted.

Monty Lobb, Executive Director of the Christian Business Partnership—a partner ministry of Center for Christian Virtue, will testify in support of SB34. Read his submitted testimony here.

2. Get the Scoop on Senate Bill 1

Sponsored by Senator Jerry Cirino (R-Kirtland), the Advance Ohio Higher Education Act would ban DEI courses, training, and required statements; spending on DEI initiatives or programs with the same intent; and political and ideological litmus tests in all hiring, promotion, and admissions decisions at Ohio's state colleges and universities.
