Support Student Scholarships to Christian Schools at No Cost to You!

Receive a Dollar-for-Dollar Tax Credit When You Give to the OCEN Scholarship Granting Organization

If there was a way for you to contribute toward a scholarship for a worthy K-12 student to attend a high-quality Christian school and it cost you nothing, would you do it? Here’s the good news–through CCV’s Ohio Christian Education Network Scholarship Granting Organization (OCEN SGO), you can do just that!

To qualify for the Ohio SGO Tax Credit, individuals can make a gift up to $750 to OCEN SGO and receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit reducing the amount of Ohio income tax owed by the amount of the gift. Couples who make a gift in both spouses’ names can receive up to a $1,500 credit. If you choose to, you can even select which participating school you would like to be the beneficiary of your gift.

By claiming the tax credit, you receive back the entire amount of your gift so that it essentially costs you nothing to give. You can designate a beneficiary school or simply contribute to our general fund. Either way, what a great incentive to bless a worthy student!

For the 2023-24 school year, OCEN SGO awarded 1,622 students almost $1.6 million in scholarships to Christian schools across the state. Our goal is to award $5 million for the 2024-25 school year.

You can help us reach that goal by visiting OhioCEN.org/SGO and making a gift online or by check. Your generosity is so valued and will make a meaningful difference in the life of a student.
