Episode 1 of CCV's New Podcast is LIVE

Exploring "Race & Roots" with Civil Rights Activist Bob Woodson

With the help of special guest Bob Woodson, the first full episode of CCV's brand new podcast The Narrative—available anywhere you get your podcasts—answers the below question:

There are many people today who are carrying the mantle of the civil rights movement, but how does this movement compare to the civil rights of the 1960s?

Hosts CCV President Aaron Baer and CCV Policy Director David Mahan don't hold back in this fast-paced episode as they cover everything from religious freedom to Critical Race Theory and The Office.

You don't want to miss this episode with one of the original civil rights champions, Bob Woodson.

Bob Woodson is the Founder and President of the Woodson Center, which helps residents of low-income neighborhoods address the problems of their communities. In response to an epidemic of youth violence that has afflicted urban, rural and suburban neighborhoods alike, Woodson has focused much of the Woodson Center’s activities on an initiative to establish Violence-Free Zones in troubled schools and neighborhoods throughout the nation. A former civil rights activist, he has headed the National Urban League Department of Criminal Justice, and has been a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Foundation for Public Policy Research.
