CCV Welcomes Chris Lightfoot as Executive Director of the Church Ambassador Network
COLUMBUS—Center for Christian Virtue (CCV) is expanding its Church Ambassador Network (CAN) team to help further the organization’s efforts to connect, equip, and empower Ohio churches, pastors, and ministries. As Executive Director, Chris Lightfoot will lead CCV's growing Church Ambassador Network team, which includes Christian Engagement Ambassador Ruth Edmonds and Central Ohio Ambassador Pastor Eric Tober.
“CCV exists first and foremost to serve the Church and the body of Christ. Over the last four years, Minister Ruth Edmonds and Pastor Eric Tober have done phenomenal work coming alongside Ohio churches to help them navigate these cultural times, and connect with elect officials to bring salt and light to the Ohio Statehouse,” said Aaron Baer, President of Center for Christian Virtue. “Chris Lightfoot's career has demonstrated a true heart for the Church and impacting the culture. He's a true leader that will expand the reach and impact of CCV's service to churches across Ohio.”
CCV's Church Ambassador Network is a proud partner of the Daniel Impact—an initiative launched out of the Iowa FAMiLY Leader that is now in 18 states, connecting the shepherds of the Church to the shepherds of government.
Chris comes to CCV following a career in financial advising and charitable giving strategies which culminated in his role as a relationship manager with National Christian Foundation (NCF) from 2017 to 2023. At NCF, his passion to see families understand God’s ownership and their role as a steward inspired an increase in giving their time, talents, and treasure for Gospel impact.
Chris also serves as an elder and the Generosity Coach at Good News Church in Powell, Ohio, and on the board of DadLab—a practitioner movement equipping dads in shepherding their family toward God’s kingdom. He has also previously served on the board of Design Outreach in Gahanna, Ohio.
Chris is a graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College and moved back to his home state of Colorado to work on his MBA from the University of Colorado. He and his wife, Meghann, met while teaching and coaching at the same high school in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 2009. They were married in 2011 and have three children. As a family, they love traveling, and spending time outdoors enjoying God’s creation.
As Ohio’s largest Christian public policy organization, Center for Christian Virtue seeks the good of our neighbors by advocating for public policy that reflects the truth of the Gospel.
