BREAKING NEWS: Ohio Court Allows Transgender Procedures On Kids to Resume

COLUMBUS—The Ohio 10th District Court of Appeals has temporarily blocked the enforcement of the Center for Christian Virtue-backed Saving Adolescents From Experimentation (SAFE) Act, known as House Bill 68 (HB68), effectively allowing transgender procedures on kids in Ohio to resume.

The following statement is from Center for Christian Virtue President Aaron Baer:

"Today’s decision by the activist judges on the 10th District Court of Appeals is shameful. Ohio legislators enacted the Saving Adolescents From Experimentation (SAFE) Act to protect children from the irreversible harms caused by the misuse of puberty blockers and wrong-sex hormones. In overturning the ban, the court put our kids back in the crosshairs of the medical industry.

"No child is born in the wrong body, and children’s hospitals and pharmaceutical companies shouldn’t be allowed to emotionally manipulate parents and children for profit.

"I’m grateful for Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost’s strong advocacy for the protection of our children and remain confident that ultimately, the SAFE Act will be upheld, and Ohio’s kids will be protected.”
