Addressing the root cause
A Letter from Center for Christian Virtue President Aaron Baer
Hi friend,
It’s no coincidence that as families have fallen apart, the abortion rate has grown, crime has increased, drugs have flooded the streets of our communities, and literacy rates have plummeted.
To address the root cause of the problems we see all around us, CCV has been building plans to slow and, Lord willing, reverse the collapse of the family that is destroying our state.
1. Our Ohio Christian Education Network (OCEN) is freeing kids from a broken public school system that is often more concerned with indoctrination than education.
OCEN lobbied to make every student in Ohio eligible for a voucher to attend the school of his or her choice.
OCEN is also actively working with dozens of churches to start schools in their facilities, and will start 8 new schools next year.
2. The Christian Business Partnership is fighting back against woke corporate America by uniting Christian business owners around their shared values.
Thanks to the hundreds of members who joined this year, the Partnership was Ohio’s fastest-growing Chamber of Commerce in 2024. The Partnership also provided faith-based benefits to 1,000+ employees and launched four regional chapters.
3. Our Church Ambassador Network (CAN) is the largest multi-denominational network in Ohio with more than 4,500 Bible-believing congregations.
As a signature initiative, CAN is launching the Tom Minnery Fellowship for Cultural Engagement, an ongoing Continuing Cultural Education program to resource church leaders.
On top of this foundation, we now have a presidential administration and a state legislature that also recognize the root of the problem and are motivated to do something about it.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that we can’t squander, %firstName%. We need to raise $1.5 million by the end of the year to hit the ground running and capitalize on the four-year window that God has opened for us.
Your gift will provide the crucial resources we need to advocate for the family-first policies that will bring our state back from the brink of decay.
Onward!
