A Time to Pray and Repent: Issue 1 is Enacted Today
COLUMBUS—Today marks a grievous new era in Ohio. Issue 1, one of the most egregious and aggressive abortion amendments in the nation, is officially enshrined in the state Constitution.
At Center for Christian Virtue (CCV), we often say that elections have consequences, and there are few worse consequences than legalizing the murder of unborn children in their mothers' wombs, where they should be safest.

As Aaron shared in the immediate aftermath of the election, we know that this disastrous outcome is not the penultimate decision in this fight. The road ahead is long and arduous, but there is a path to restoring what has been broken.
In many ways over the last few years, God has been preparing CCV for this road. As much as we wish this wasn't the journey He had for our generation, we are trusting in His perfect plan and rolling up our sleeves to help systematically reform this culture that has been discipling our children to reject God in all His glory and beauty.
While we are working toward and praying for the day the dignity of all unborn children will be honored in Ohio, we invite you to join us in praying that pregnant mothers who are in difficult circumstances would be surrounded by supportive communities and choose life.
