CCV Applauds Gov. DeWine’s Announcement of New Pro-Life Health Director

Pro-Life Health Director: Citizens for Community Values Applauds Gov. DeWine’s Pick of Stephanie McCloud

COLUMBUS – Governor Mike DeWine just announced that he is nominating Stephanie McCloud, the current Administrator and CEO of the Bureau of Worker’s Compensation, as the next Director of the Department of Health.

The following statement is from Citizens for Community Values President Aaron Baer:

“Governor Mike DeWine has announced an incredibly qualified and talented woman to lead our state’s efforts to protect public health. What’s more, there are few leaders in state government with the track record of standing for the health and safety of unborn children and their mothers like Stephanie McCloud.

“Throughout Stephanie’s career, she’s worked in public health and administration, and worked with officials on both sides of the aisle. At every turn, she’s excelled and been universally recognized as an effective leader.

“Protecting public health starts with protecting the most vulnerable: the unborn. I commend Governor DeWine for his wise selection of Stephanie McCloud, who can stand on the pro-life principles he ran for governor on, and lead a massive and essential entity like the Ohio Department of Health on the road ahead.”
