UPDATE: Polls Closed Today
GOVERNOR DEWINE ORDERS POLLS CLOSED
Last night at 10:12 p.m., Governor Mike DeWine’s Director of the Ohio Department of Health, Dr. Amy Acton, signed an order declaring a Public Health Emergency and ordering the polls to be closed.
Then, early this morning, the Ohio Supreme Court denied a legal challenge to the order.
This means there will be no in-person voting today.
While Governor DeWine and Secretary of State Frank LaRose are proposing June 2 as the date for in-person voting, it is still unclear when Ohioans will have the opportunity to vote in-person.
Citizens for Community Values will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed on when Ohioans will vote in the Primary Election.
