Witnessing History at the Statehouse
What a God-honoring and victorious day the Church Ambassador Network had on our first Capitol Project in 2019! Pastors from north, south-west, east and northwest central Ohio came together at the statehouse to meet with Senator Stephanie Kunze and Representative Candice Keller to connect and pray for them. Hallelujah!!
Pastors began the session with a briefing in the State Reception Room, down the hall from the Governor’s office and ended with a prayer over the Ohio Constitution in the Government Museum. Experiencing the glory of God’s light manifesting from the pastors as they walked through the halls, anointed the state representative who introduced the Heartbeat Bill, prayed in both Chambers and then bowed before God in prayer with a State Senator in her office was amazing!
The icing on the cake was that on this particular day at the statehouse, pastors got to witness the final leg of the Heartbeat Bill pass out of the General Assembly. When we scheduled the first Church Ambassador Network’s Capitol Project with pastors we were not thinking of aligning it with the legislative passage of the Heartbeat Bill, BUT God was!
The Capitol Project is a calling for pastors to minister to the authorities of our government by honoring them and praying for them. As God’s glory representative, when you participate in the Capitol Project, your presence releases the glory of God in the halls of our state government. When God’s presence is released, His power follows, and well you know - All things are possible with God. Amen!
We are already gearing up for the next Capitol Project session and will continue to host them regularly while the General Assembly is in session. If you’re reading this briefing and this ministry is speaking to you, we invite you to sign up here to join us for an impactful 2 hour experience.
