CCV Expands Church Outreach
Citizens for Community Values Welcomes Ruth McNeil as Church Relations Director
Columbus, OH – Citizens for Community Values, one of Ohio’s leading Christian voices in public policy, is growing its outreach to churches throughout the state by adding Ruth McNeil to the team.A longtime central Ohio community leader, Ruth was formerly with Franklin County Auditor Clarence Mingo’s office, and in the Governor’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives.“Ruth is known for her authentic networking style and ability to leverage relationships for successful partnerships and collaborations,” said Aaron Baer, president of CCV. “Her love for the church, and passion for seeing Christians engage with our elected officials for the good of all makes her an exceptional addition to the team."At CCV, Ruth will lead the organization’s statewide church ambassador network program, The Daniel Initiative. The Daniel Initiative bridges relationships between Shepherds of the church (pastors) and Shepherds of the government (legislators).Ruth has been awarded for her community partner relationship efforts from faith-based, business professional and social justice organizations and recently graduated with a certificate in Public and Non-Profit Leadership from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University. She holds a BA in Communications from Denison University and is an active member of Columbus Christian Center Church under the leadership of Pastor David A.
