Leaked Draft of Supreme Court Opinion Shows U.S. Supreme Court Preparing to Overturn Roe, Save Millions of Lives

Statement from Center for Christian Virtue President Aaron Baer

COLUMBUS–In an unprecedented act in modern American history, a draft copy of a U.S. Supreme Court majority opinion has been leaked to Politico, showing that the Court is preparing to overturn Roe v. Wade in deciding the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health.

The following statement is from Center for Christian Virtue President Aaron Baer:

“America is on course to end the slaughter of millions of innocent lives, and to save women from the heartless hands of the abortion industry. 

“Countless hours have been spent in prayer, in pregnancy centers, at the polls, and in communities fighting to end abortion. It now seems our prayers have been heard from heaven, and we may truly see Roe v Wade overturned. No more children will die because of Roe. Love wins out, and abortion and Planned Parenthood lose! 

“Yet this leaked document is not the final word from the Court in this case. Pro-lifers must continue tomorrow—just as they have for 49 years—to pray, vote, and to serve women and families facing crisis pregnancies.   

“However, this is a reminder that overturning Roe is truly a possibility. 

“Center for Christian Virtue calls on the General Assembly to pass Senator Kristina Roegner’s SB 123, the Human Life Protection Act, this month so Ohio is in position to have the strongest protection for unborn children and their mothers if Roe is overturned.”
