Summit on Protecting Children from Sexualization
Following the U.S. Supreme Court arguments yesterday in the Harris Funeral Home case, Citizens for Community Values President Aaron Baer will be speaking at the Heritage Foundation and Family Policy Alliance’s Summit on Protecting Children from Sexualization.
CCV filed a brief to the U.S. Supreme Court in the Harris case arguing that if “sex” is redefined to include “gender identity,” parental rights would be obliterated. As we have seen in Ohio, children are already being removed from parents’ custody because the state believes the child should be put on high-dose hormone therapy so the child can “transition” their sex.
This discussion is also relevant for Ohio because of the Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity law in the State Senate, SB 11.
Aaron Baer will be speaking at 11 a.m. on a panel focusing on the health care implications of redefining “sex” and on laws like Ohio’s SB 11. The Summit will begin at 9:00 a.m. EST this morning.
