Watch powerful Ohio Statehouse prayer event

God bless America—land that I love, stand beside her, and guide her through the night with the light from above.  From the mountains, to the prairies, to the oceans white with foam, God bless America, my home sweet home.

The halls of the Statehouse reverberated with these powerful and moving verses as nearly 200 Christians sang "God Bless America" to close out June's Prayer at the Statehouse.

As Christians, we know that we are called to be a light in the darkness. Yet many may view politics as the epitome of darkness where no light can enter.

But here at Center for Christian Virtue, the Statehouse is our mission field, and every CCV staff member is a missionary for Christ... and every Prayer at the Statehouse attendee is an irreplaceable prayer warrior.

We are so grateful for everyone who made it out to this transformational prayer event, and we want to especially thank Pastor Michael Kelley for leading us in worship, every ministry leader who led us in intercession, and Pastor Mark Condon for sharing such a timely and inspiring message of exhortation on the need to unite today, remembering that we are not promised tomorrow.

We encourage you to let the below recording of the event bless and encourage you!

Registration now open for the FINAL Prayer at the Statehouse of 2022!

Thursday, November 10, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

The Ohio Statehouse, Columbus, Ohio

Bring a friend and join us for the very last Prayer at the Statehouse of 2022! We'll unite in hymns of worship and in specific intercession over our government and elected officials, and receive an exhortation from a local Ohio pastor. You'll also have the opportunity to tour the Statehouse, or sit in on a Committee meeting (if there's one in session).

Finally, while the event officially ends at noon, you are welcome to continue exploring the Statehouse (which is open to the public from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm), grab lunch at a nearby restaurant, or tour other attractions like the Ohio Supreme Court!
