There's still time to vote! Your voice matters
Election Day voting hours end in just two and a half hours! Wondering why you should vote? The Public Interest Legal Foundation recently reported:
635 elections so far have ended in ties
173 elections were decided by one vote
Feeling motivated? Get out and vote!
You will be allowed to vote as long as you're in line at your polling place by 7:30 pm. Here's what you need to know to be an informed voter.
1. Who should I vote for?
✅ BuckeyeBallot.com
While we are a 501(c)(3) nonpartisan nonprofit and can't endorse or oppose any candidates, we do have a personalized nonpartisan Voter Guide available online at BuckeyeBallot.com, showing who is backing each of the major candidates on your ballot.
See who's on your ballot. For local candidates, a simple web search may show whether they are Republicans or Democrats and who has endorsed them.
❌ Vote NO on Issue 1.

2. How do I vote?
If you're a registered voter, you will vote at your local polling place.
If you have an absentee ballot but haven’t sent it back, you'll do either of the following:
Return your absentee ballot in person to your county Board of Elections before the close of polls (7:30 pm).
Go to your polling place and vote by provisional ballot.
Don't forget to bring a valid photo ID to the polls!
3. Where do I vote?
Your Election Day polling place is often a church or school near the address associated with your voter registration.
If you do not know where your designated precinct or polling place is located, search for your polling place online or contact your county Board of Elections.
BONUS: Why should I vote?
Many of you in the CCV family–pastors, school administrators, medical professionals, business leaders, moms, dads, and grandparents–have shared your testimonies with us on the issues impacting your communities.
We know you care deeply:
Whether the SAFE Act and the Save Women's Sports Act can stay in effect
Whether Ohio’s school choice program will be eliminated
Whether businesses will be penalized for operating in line with their Christian faith
Whether women have the right to be informed about their options before an abortion and whether basic health and safety standards apply to abortion facilities
With hundreds of Ohio candidates on the ballot today, including our president, US congressmen, judges, senators, and representatives, as well as measures like Issue 1, the outcome of this election will determine the direction of our state for years to come, not limited to the issues listed above.
Because of our Christian identity, part of our earthly responsibility is to engage with God’s institution of government to incentivize good and diminish evil.
We must seek the welfare of the city where we have been sent into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare we will find our welfare (Jeremiah 29:7).
We know that Man’s manipulation of politics is exhausting and frustrating, but we cannot bury our stewardship responsibility in the ground in the face of evil. We don't have the luxury of simply awaiting the victorious return of the conquering King of Kings.
And so, we fight this spiritual battle with our weapons of prayer and our voice at the polls.
