BREAKING: Nationwide Children’s Hospital Removes Hardcore Porn Recommendation From Website

COLUMBUS—After Center for Christian Virtue (CCV) brought to lawmakers’ attention the fact that Nationwide Children’s Hospital was promoting an organization that was pushing pornography to children on their website, the hospital promptly removed the link.

The organization, called Mozaic, is a drop-in center in downtown Columbus for “transgender and non-binary youth as young as 13.” Mozaic has listed on their resource page websites that sell sex toys and hardcore porn movies as “educational how-to’s.”

Representative Gary Click (R-Vickery) raised the issue during a committee hearing for House Bill 454, the SAFE Act, which aims to protect children from drugs and surgeries that would alter their healthy bodies to make them appear more like the opposite sex.

Representative Click provided handouts with screenshots of Nationwide’s Gender Program Resources page and its link to the sensitive content on Mozaic’s website. The document which Representative Click shared with the committee can be found here. Please note that viewer discretion is advised.

Although it’s great news that the media exposure has caused Nationwide to remove Mozaic from its resources, the real concern is why it was there in the first place.

“While we are pleased to know that the Columbus-based ‘wellness program’ Mozaic was removed from Nationwide’s website, we remain deeply concerned about the tendency of some ‘LGBT’ organizations to use obscene materials as educational resources for children,” said CCV Policy Director David Mahan. “This is yet another example of why parental consent for any teaching or counseling regarding gender identity is essential, and HB 454 would require it by law."
